One of the objectives in EUROCORE was to set up a demonstration model
showing how accessory datasets could be accessed below the meta-directory
level, allowing users to access published or public domain datasets
relating to specific samples.
Two demonstration models for online data access are presented. One links
to accessory datasets held in the PANGAEA database of the Alfred Wegener
Institute for Polar and Marine Research, Bremerhaven, Germany; the other
links to a specifically formatted part of the EU-SEASED database where
accessory datasets are held for a small number of cores.
