The Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure, which is being developed as Geoconnections (http://www.geoconnections.org), will coordinate Canada'a numerous databases of geographic information, make them accessible through a common window on the internet, and enable partnerships between federal, provincial and territorial governments, the private sector and the academic community.
